Great Expectations.

This project is too much for us.
From the moment science was mentioned I knew it was a bad idea. The only way this project was going to be actually site specific would be if it was related to shops and science at the same time. Human Inc has been told to be believable, and realistic and so high tech it almost hurts. But you know what that requires? Money.
Living as a student who doesn’t get enough to cover rent on his own home, I don’t have the money to spend on things to make this performance look as professional as others want it to be. Knowing that it won’t be good enough to match expectations is stressfull and is the reason I find myself and other members of my group being pulled into a black hole of no return.
This project is too big. Looking at simple things like stickers for the products we ‘give away for free’, well, to get the amount we need we’ll have to spend at least £50. Something nobody in my group can afford right now, especially with two other performances in other lessons to think about as well.
I feel that due to the fact we are spending £9000 a year on our course, we are all incredibly conscious of making sure we do well, but this is proving increasingly difficult when doing well means spending all this money we do not have.
